Vivid Voices was founded by Scott and Malhar as a collaborative choral project centered on thoughtful programming, meaningful rehearsal, and emotionally honest performance.
The ensemble brings together committed singers who are excited by both the established choral repertoire and the music being written by composers today.
Each program is designed to place familiar works in conversation with newer voices, creating concerts that feel connected, relevant, and alive.

Scott Andrews
Scott Andrews is a conductor, pianist, and bass/baritone with over 30 years experience as a music director. He holds graduate degrees in music from The University of New Mexico, Montclair State University, and Rutgers University. His focus is fostering the next generation of exceptional ensemble singers and innovative composers.
Malhar Lakshman
Malhar Lakshman is a conductor, baritone, educator, and collaborative musician. His work centers on expressive ensemble singing, thoughtful programming, and the creation of welcoming musical communities.
